Summer in the Psalms 2018
July 11, 2018Sunday Evening MinistriesEvents
This summer we will be having Summer in the Psalms during Sunday evenings from June - August. This is a relaxed time of fellowship and being encouraged by a psalm. Each Sunday evening the church will provide a dinner to encourage a time of fellowship and getting to know each other more. There are two areas of ministry opportunities with Summer in the Psalms. We need church members to serve by helping to cook and serve the food and to teach the children (1st - 6th grade) a psalm. If you are burdened to serve in either of these ways, please contact Pastor Love regarding which weeks you would like to serve.

Teen Missions Trip Fundraising
Plant Camp is a week-long urban church planting immersion. Twelve of our First Baptist high school teens (plus four adults) will be traveling to Salt Lake City this July 15-23 to experience an intensive week full of evangelism, helping to advertise a new church plant in Riverton, UT, Bible studies and discussions about our relationship and responsibility to the Church.
Please be praying that God would stretch and grow each of us while we reach out to the community in SLC. And pray that through this experience, we would develop a greater burden for gospel ministry, bringing it back to our community in the West Bend area.
For more information: plantcampslc.com & gospelgracechurch.com
In addition to your prayer support, we ask for you to consider assisting financially to help offset costs (airfare, lodging, meals, transportation and the plant-camp admission fee) through these ways:
- All-Church Brat Fry
Sunday May 6
Following the Sunday School hour, the teens will host an all-church Brat Fry where free-will donations will be accepted for the meal. (If you are interested in helping with supplies or preparations, please see Pastor David.) - Rummage Sale
Fri. & Sat. June 1 & 2
The teens will host an all-church rummage sale in which the money made will go toward the cost of the trip. (Please consider donating items that we can sell. In addition to rummage items, consider baked goods and plants too!) Please drop off items at church beginning Fri. May 25 thru 31. - Teens for Hire
Please contact Pastor David by phone (262-224-2114) or email (dhinz@firstbaptistwb.org) to connect you with a teen if you have some odd jobs to help them earn money.
