Sunday School - Fall 2018

Please join us for our Sunday school hour; we would love to have you! Our Bible study groups meet around 11:00 a.m. (following the Sunday Morning Worship Service) and typically last for 45-55 minutes. This fall there will be four Sunday School electives offered for the teens and adults:

  • The Christian and Politics (Pastor Luke Love) - Auditorium (FULL as of 9/7)
  • Technology: Use and Misuse (Pastor Caleb Roth) - Fellowship Hall
  • Christianity and Other Religions (Pastor David Hinz) - Teen Room (FULL as of 9/7)
  • The Christian and the Workplace (James Vickery) - Foyer

Space is limited because of the size of some of the classrooms and to facilitate discussion about these topics. To sign up for a class, please contact Pastor Luke Love.

A Sign Language Class is also starting on September 9. Find more details here.

Age-appropriate classes are also available for children, as well as a staffed nursery.

Thanksgiving Fellowship 2018

We have so much to be thankful for as God has blessed us abundantly. Our annual Church Thanksgiving Meal is a time each year that we take to praise God for His blessings. This year's meal will be on Sunday, November 11 at 12:30 p.m. There will be a sign-up sheet at the welcome desk to sign-up to bring different items for the meal, and each individual in the church is encouraged to fill out a praise card (located in the foyer of the church building) to help us give praise to God for all that He has done for us.

Guys, Guns, 'n Grub

Men and teen guys 13 and older are invited to an afternoon of fellowship, food, and shooting on Saturday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. The cost is $5 for lunch, and each individual is asked to bring guns and ammo if they would like to enjoy some target practice. Please sign-up at the welcome desk.

Location

Held at the Holda Homestead

Missions Meal - October 2018

On Wednesday, October 24 at 6 p.m., we will be having a missions meal with our gospel partner, Nate Muse. The Muse family has been ministering the gospel in Australia for the last couple of years and will be with us that evening for a fellowship meal and to update us on the ministry that God has given them.

Doctrine Class - Fall 2018

This fall, adults are invited to take part in an in-depth study of doctrine on Sunday evenings at 6pm. Some might be intimidated by a study like this, but doctrine is the foundation for our worship to God and leads to our love for Him (6 Great Reasons to Study Doctrine). This fall, starting September 9, we will be studying the doctrine of Christ and the Holy Spirit. Space is limited, so please contact Pastor Luke if you are interested in taking part in this study.

Sign Language Class - Fall 2018

Interested in learning sign language to minister to individuals? There will be a class offered during Sunday School this fall. Space is limited so please contact Toni Farrell if you are interested or for more information. The sign language class will be meeting in Classroom C (south side of building).
