Word First Men's Conference 2026
God’s Word isn’t for one stage of life. We don’t grow out of its usefulness to our life. God’s Word is sufficient to equip every man, both young and old or somewhere in between, to be wise men.
Join us for a day of worshipping, fellowshipping, but most of all opening up God’s Word first and being challenged, whether young or old, to be wise men as we wrestle with the unique challenges of life.
The burden of the WORD First Conference is to strengthen local churches by calling Christians back to a simple but increasingly urgent conviction: the Word of God must come first. It must be the foundation upon which we build our lives, our homes, and our churches. We live in a world crowded with competing voices, each offering its own version of wisdom, truth, and direction. Videos, podcasts, books, social media, and countless other voices continually tell us what to believe, what to value, and how to live. Yet Scripture reminds us that it is God’s Word that gives light and understanding (Psalm 119:130). Human wisdom shifts. Cultural values change. But the Word of our God stands forever.
The WORD First Conference is a day set apart to turn down the noise and sit under the authority and truth of Scripture. Men will be challenged and encouraged to examine what is shaping their thinking, directing their priorities, and governing their lives.
Our desire is that men leave with a deeper confidence in the sufficiency of Scripture and a renewed resolve to be men of the Word—building their lives upon it, leading their homes by it, and serving their churches through it.

Keynote Speaker
Dr. Grant Castleberry
Grant Castleberry is the senior pastor of The King’s Chapel in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the president of Unashamed Truth Ministries. A former United States Marine Corps captain, Grant holds MDiv, ThM, and PhD degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His passion is helping people know and live God-centered lives through faithful, Christ-centered exposition of Scripture.
Grant is a regular contributor to Tabletalk Magazine and the author of The Honor of God (Ligonier Ministries). He and his wife, GraceAnna, have been married since 2009 and have five children.

Located about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, just off of Hwy 45, First Baptist Church is easy to find. Take Hwy 45 to the Paradise Drive exit. Turn east on Paradise and go to Main Street (three traffic lights). Turn right (south) onto Main Street. We are located in-between Meijer and the Kettle Moraine Ice Center. The church shares the driveway with the Ice Center on the south side of the property.

Breakfast will be available as you check-in as well as lunch and snacks throughout the day.
A gluten-free meal option is available. Please let us know when registering.
Registration fees are non-refundable except in the event of an emergency. If an emergency prevents you from attending, please email info@firstbaptistwb.org to request a partial refund.
The conference is open to all men ages 13 and up.
