Word First Women's Conference 2026
Today, a lot of different things could have brought you joy. The paycheck that had a bonus attached, the perfectly clean kitchen, a loving embrace, your favorite show, or maybe the arrival of the Amazon box on your doorstep all have the ability to bring us joy, but none of them are able to give us joy that lasts. For lasting joy, we have to look to God and His Word. The burden of our 2026 Women’s Word First Conference is that by looking at God’s Word first and foremost in our lives, we can see how we can rejoice always, instead of the temporary joy the world has to offer.
In our one-day conference, we will have three sessions with our guest speaker, Susan Heck-Daniels, as we study the book of Philippians together and leave better equipped as women—whether as wives, mothers, grandmothers, co-workers, or sisters—to build our lives on the foundation of God’s Word.
We hope you will join us in this time together to delve into God’s Word, fellowship with other sisters in Christ, and leave rejoicing in the Lord as we look to God’s Word first in our lives.

Speaker
Susan Heck-Daniel
Susan Heck-Daniel has been teaching and discipling women in God’s Word for over 40 years. She is a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and the author of the With the Master Bible study series, along with several other books that encourage women toward spiritual growth and biblical living. Susan has memorized the entire New Testament and continues her journey through the Old Testament—all to the glory of God. She was married to her beloved first husband, Pastor Doug Heck, for 46 years until his homegoing in 2021, and in 2025 the Lord graciously brought Curt Daniel into her life. Susan’s passion is to help women love and live out the truth of Scripture for the glory of Christ.

Located about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, just off of Hwy 45, First Baptist Church is easy to find. Take Hwy 45 to the Paradise Drive exit. Turn east on Paradise and go to Main Street (three traffic lights). Turn right (south) onto Main Street. We are located in-between Meijer and the Kettle Moraine Ice Center. The church shares the driveway with the Ice Center on the south side of the property.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided with registration. Coffee, tea, water, lemonade, and iced tea will be available all day. (There will be gluten-free options available for breakfast and lunch.)

The conference is open to all ladies ages 13 and up.
