Word First Ladies' Conference 2024
As women of the Word, we desire God’s truth to guide us in all aspects of life. We believe God’s Word is sufficient, providing all we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
John 17:17 is our prayer for our time together at our first Word First Ladies’ Conference at First Baptist:
In our one-day conference, we will study God’s Word together and leave better equipped as women—whether as wives, mothers, grandmothers, co-workers, or sisters—to build our lives on the foundation of God’s Word. In a world that often tells us we need more, the Bible reminds us that true fulfillment is found in the sufficiency of Christ. It is in His Word that we find the promises that sustain us, the grace that transforms us, and the hope that anchors us.
We hope you will join us in this time together to delve into God’s Word, fellowship with other sisters in Christ, and leave with a better understanding of the authority, necessity, and sufficiency of God’s Word.
Registration fee – $30 (registration deadline is March 14)
Conference fee helps to cover the cost of the conference and includes both breakfast and lunch, as well as a tote bag, book, and much more!
Speaker – Michelle Lesley
Michelle and her husband have been blessed by the six wonderful children – in their teens, 20s, and 30s – God has brought into their lives. She loves being a stay-at-home mom and home-school veteran and enjoys reading, staying active at church and in women’s ministry, spending time with family, and training Christian women to grow in their knowledge of Christ and His Word through her blog, speaking engagements around the country, and A Word Fitly Spoken, a podcast she co-hosts with Amy Spreeman.

Located about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, just off of Hwy 45, First Baptist Church is easy to find. Take Hwy 45 to the Paradise Drive exit. Turn east on Paradise and go to Main Street (three traffic lights). Turn right (south) onto Main Street. We are located in-between Meijer and the Kettle Moraine Ice Center. The church shares the driveway with the Ice Center on the south side of the property.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided with registration. Coffee, tea, water, lemonade, and iced tea will be available all day. (There will be gluten-free options available for breakfast and lunch.)

All sales are final except for health reasons. Tickets are transferable to other women. Please email Marci Ferrell at wordfirst@firstbaptistwb.org to complete this process. Please provide your full name and email and the name and email of the individual you are gifting the ticket to.
The conference is open to all ladies ages 13 and up.
