Biblical Counseling Training

Be trained to be a certified Biblical counselor, through the ministry of Biblical Counseling Center. We live in a world filled with individuals who are struggling and hurting. The heart of this counseling training is to equip our church to minister to those individuals within our church and our community. The training classes begin on January 15, meeting Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. This is a 23-week commitment, and the cost is $100. Deadline to sign-up is this Sunday, January 5. Questions can be directed to Pastor Caleb.

Wednesday Bible Study

Join Pastor Dave as he leads a time of coming together in the middle of the week to be refreshed through an in-depth study of God's Word. The Wednesday Bible Study will begin on January 15 at 6:30 and runs through May 27.

The class is called "Walking In the Footsteps of the Bible." This class is designed for both the newer as well as seasoned student of the Bible of any age (seriously, any aged learner is welcome to attend). Learn how the land, locations and customs mentioned in the Bible can have a significant impact on our understanding of Scripture.

Even if you are unable to commit to regular attendance, you are welcome to attend. Each week's content will be very different from the previous and will benefit even for those who can only make it to a few classes. Printed and/or digital handouts will be provided, so those individuals don't have to miss out. (Also, for those who want to dig in deep to this study, Pastor Dave will have a wealth of recommended resources to browse and optional assignments available which will help you to benefit even greater.)

Pastor Dave says, "This is one of my very favorite classes to teach because I have heard from many how it had transformed the way they read the Bible and affected their understanding of God's sovereign plan to highlight His grace to the world using Israel to showcasing Himself and His Gospel. Designing and teaching this class has deepened my love for God, His Word, His land and people, and I hope it will do the same for you!"

If you are considering coming to the first class, please email Pastor Dave so he can have a general idea how many to set up for and have handouts ready for. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact him.

Adult Bible Fellowship

Our new Adult Bible Fellowships begin January 6. This time has been designed to encourage the church to know, minister, and encourage each other as we study God's Word together. Please make plans to be a part of your class as we begin this new ministry together.

Age-appropriate classes are also available for children and teens, as well as a staffed nursery.

Prayer Week 2020

Sunday, January 6, begins a week of prayer as we begin another year of ministry as a church. As you look at the early church in the book of Acts, there is a repeated theme of their devotion to prayer. This is a devotion that Paul calls us to have as well (Romans 12:12). And so as we start a new year we have set aside the first week to be devoted to prayer. There will be new prayer journals in the foyer Sunday, our services Sunday will be focused on prayer, and on Saturday, January 11, everyone is encouraged to stop by the church building for a time of prayer.
