A children’s program is offered during the regular Sunday worship service for children ages 3-7. Children are dismissed from the service prior to the sermon and then generally re-enter the service following the sermon. All of our programs and services for children are staffed by loving, qualified caregivers and teachers. In addition, each of our staff are required to be a member for 6 months and pass the WI state background check before serving with any children.
While children’s church allows parents with very young children to focus solely on God’s Word, that is not the main goal of this program. Training children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord is a mandate from God. Paul reminds Timothy that he had the privilege of knowing the holy Scriptures “from infancy” (2 Timothy 3:14-15).
Therefore, our Children’s Church program strives to establish an atmosphere of worship in which children are taught to love and reverence the One True God. We want to help young children learn about God so that they can develop a relationship with Him. We are not wanting just to increase their head knowledge but focus on a relationship with their Creator. We want, therefore, to help children to grow up knowing that God made the world around them and that He loves them. Bible instruction combined with practical application and thought-stimulating activities make this an exciting and profitable time for all.
