When are the service times?
Where are we located?
How long is the service?
Our morning worship service is approximately an hour and a half. Sunday school typically is about 45 minutes.
Where do I sit?
You can sit anywhere. Please note that the deaf interpreter and the deaf sit in the far right section of chairs.
What will my children do during the service?
Do you have small groups?
Yes. We believe the Christian life isn’t meant to be lived alone but was meant to be lived connected with other believers for encouragement and strength. At FBC, our small groups are a time to cultivate healthy relationships with God and others around the Word, fellowship, and prayer. Our small groups meet weekly in different homes or the church building as we strive to live out the “one another” commands that are vital to the church in the New Testament. You can visit the church Welcome Desk on a Sunday morning for more information or to be connected with a group.
What do we believe?
For a full description, please see our doctrinal statement.
What version of the Bible do you use?
While our pastor studies from multiple versions, he preaches from the English Standard Version (ESV). We encourage everyone to bring and use a translation that they are most comfortable with. ESV Pew Bibles are available and verses are displayed on an overhead screen during the service. Our doctrinal position on inspiration, preservation and translation may be found in our doctrinal statement.
How do we participate in worship?
Gathering as a church to worship God is at the core of FBC. It is our desire that the church family gathers each week to worship God, and that each individual in the church would through their own walk with God yearn to sing praise to their God. Because our focus is on the church family singing praise to God, we select hymns based on texts that are rich in truth and melodies that are accessible. We strive in our worship to do it in such a way that the focus remains on the congregation’s praise to God.
