Summer in the Psalms 2019

This summer we will be having Summer in the Psalms during Sunday evenings from June - August. This is a relaxed time of fellowship and being encouraged by a psalm. Each Sunday evening the church will provide a dinner to encourage a time of fellowship and getting to know each other more.

In order to facilitate this ministry, we are in need of individuals to serve in the nursery and in the kitchen. If serving in the nursery for a Sunday evening is an opportunity you would like to be involved in, please see the sign-up sheet on the table outside the nursery door, or speak with Debbie Doak or Marsha Love. If you would like to serve food for one of the Sunday evenings, please contact Pastor Caleb.

Sunday School - Summer 2019

Please join us for our Sunday school hour; we would love to have you! Our Bible study groups meet around 11:00 a.m. (following the Sunday Morning Worship Service) and typically last for 45-55 minutes.

This summer the adults and teens will be combined for one Sunday School taught by the pastors entitled "Challenges Churches Face." It is a study through the book of 1 Corinthians, covering topics like division, legalism, selfishness, impostors, etc.

Age-appropriate classes are also available for children, as well as a staffed nursery.

First Step at First - May 2019

New to First Baptist? Have questions about our ministry? Come join us on Sunday, May 26 from 4-6 p.m. for "First Step at First." Learn more about our ministry in a relaxed setting. A meal will be provided.

We come from all different walks of life and backgrounds, so we all have different ideas about what church should be. Because of that we have developed First Step at First as an informal time for us to share about who First Baptist Church is, what God is doing at First Baptist and how you can belong to the church family as we serve God together and love each other. First Step at First also provides an opportunity to get to know each other and hear your story.

Topics
  • Who is First Baptist?
  • What is the purpose of the church?
  • What does First Baptist believe?
  • What are the ministries of First Baptist?
  • How can I belong and serve at First Baptist?

Please contact Pastor Dave Hinz if you would like to attend.
