First Baptist Teen Ministry

A community committed to God-centered service and worship

The teens at First Baptist Church meet together each Sunday during Sunday School (10:45-11:30am) year-round as well as each Sunday evening (6:00-7:15pm) during the school year. During the summer, they meet on Sunday afternoons for a time of fellowship and Bible study at 4:30pm.

Our goal is not to busy ourselves with the latest and greatest youth activities, but rather to build relationships that will challenge us in our walk with God. We believe the home is the major foundation in guiding young people into truth and we desire to support and encourage the parent in that endeavor.

When we meet together, our hope is that what we will purposefully pursue our three core values: God-Centeredness, Community, and Mission. We want the Lord to be the focus of everything we do, and serving the Lord together with our church family is a crucial aspect of our mission. While we will enjoy being together in community and building relationships in that way, we don’t want it to end there. We desire for those relationships to carry us into service within the church, but also out in the community as well.

Our First Baptist Teen Ministry holds a variety of activities and events as the church calendar allows:

  • Game Nights/activities
  • Missions Trip
  • Youth Rallies
  • Weekend Trips
  • Biking the Eisenbahn State Trail
  • Local Service activities – window washing, brush removal/clean-up, etc.
