Pastor Luke Love had the blessing of being born into a pastor’s family. This family background gave him the opportunity to hear the gospel early and often in his life. It was at the age of 5 that Pastor Love realized that he was a sinner and needed a Savior. Growing up in a pastor’s home also gave him the blessing of seeing the ministry up close as his dad pastored churches in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
Pastor Love completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Baptist University, as well as a Master of Divinity from Calvary Theological Seminary. While at Maranatha he interned with us from 2007-2008 and over the past few years he has served churches in Illinois and Texas. This experience has given Pastor Love a passion for expository preaching, which should encourage the believer in a greater love for God. He also has a passion for the church as the body of Christ, which illustrates the power of the gospel to the community.
